Certified Sites Program: WEDC is Seeking Your Input

Share your thoughts on the challenges you’re facing with industrial development

WEDC is seeking input from Wisconsin’s economic development community to help shape the future of the state’s Certified Sites Program. As you know, this program helps communities prepare to attract business investments by ensuring a site is development-ready for a project. The goal of the program is to help communities move quickly and to be more competitive when opportunities arise.

Over the last three years, WEDC has said they have not received many applicants to the Certified in Wisconsin Program. As such, they would like to learn more about the economic development community’s experiences with the program and to better understand potential obstacles to participation in industrial site readiness efforts.

Feedback from economic development professionals is important because it will help WEDC improve outreach and support for local and regional efforts. They are urging stakeholders to take a few moments to answer the survey.

Survey responses must be submitted by  noon on Friday, Aug. 30.
