Mark Lee Elected to Wisconsin Economic Development Association Board of Directors

The Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) has elected Mark Lee to its Board of Directors. Lee currently serves as Executive Director of Driftless Development, Inc. The Board election took place last week at WEDA’s Governor’s Conference on Economic Development, which was held in Milwaukee, WI.

“I am honored to join the WEDA Board of Directors and support their ongoing efforts to advocate for the economic well-being of communities across Wisconsin,” said Lee. “As a representative from Driftless Development, Inc. and Crawford County, I look forward to bringing a rural perspective to the board and collaborating with colleagues statewide to drive innovative economic development solutions that foster growth and prosperity in our region and beyond.”

Lee. who has led Driftless Development, Inc. since Jan. 2024, is committed to driving business growth and success in the region. Driftless Development is the leading economic development organization for Prairie du Chien and Crawford County, focusing on issues ranging from business development, retention and expansion to workforce development and tourism. Before joining the Driftless team, Lee enjoyed a successful career in commercial real estate. He is a University of Wisconsin graduate and holds a law degree from UW-Madison.
