Just Released: Wisconsin Employer Perceptions of Childcare Snapshot

Late last year, the WI Department of Children and Families (DCF) surveyed nearly 1,000 Wisconsin employers from every county and across a wide range of industries. WEDA helped distribute the survey along with other childcare/workforce stakeholders. The goal of the survey is to better understand the perception of businesses about early care and education for children between birth and age 5, as well as what barriers they face in supporting the child care needs of their employees. Gaining insight into their perspectives will help DCF connect Wisconsin business owners with the essential child care information and community-based resources they need to be successful.

The results of the survey – a research data snapshot – is now available on the DCF website. CLICK HERE to review the snapshot.
